Stüssy and Denim Tears are joining forces once again to unveil their new collaborative collection, ‘Stüssy Tears’ 2026 Fall/Winter, on October 16.
This collection brings together Stüssy, a symbol of California street culture, and Tremaine Emory’s Denim Tears, which expresses the history and culture of Black Americans, along with personal memories, through fashion. Set against forests and lakes rather than city streets, it tells a somewhat different story.
The campaign features vivid orange outerwear, fishing vests, boldly patterned pants and clothing that combines the two brands’ graphics. Beyond its outdoor visual concept, it also holds a family’s long-standing memories.

How Saturday Fishing Became a Campaign
The campaign for this collection centers on the fishing memories of Tracy Emory, father of Denim Tears founder Tremaine Emory.
In the released video, Tracy Emory casts a fishing rod from a small boat on a calm lake, recalling summers spent working with his own father and their weekly Saturday fishing trips.
As one generation’s ordinary routines pass to the next and become a new form of creative work, the campaign carries a message about family, memory and intergenerational connection that goes beyond outdoor styling.
This also reflects Denim Tears’ creative approach, which has used personal experience as a starting point to document diverse stories of Black American culture.

Two Logos, Different Cultural Backgrounds
A key design element running through the collection is a graphic combining Stüssy’s double S logo with Denim Tears’ cotton wreath.
While Stüssy’s double S symbolizes California subculture and streetwear, Denim Tears’ cotton wreath has been used to evoke the history of forced labor and slavery endured by Black Americans, as well as the survival and cultural legacy that have endured through it.
The two graphics, also used in the first ‘Stüssy Tears’ collection in 2022, return this season on outerwear, hoodies and other pieces, uniting the visual languages of two brands with different backgrounds.
Rather than simply placing the collaborators’ logos side by side, the collection reworks their respective symbols into a single graphic—a notable detail this season as well.

New Streetwear Shaped by the Lakeside
The collection’s standout piece is vivid orange technical outerwear. Its color contrasts sharply with the natural setting, while the collaborative graphic makes it the visual centerpiece of the season.
Green and ivory varsity-style jackets, mesh fishing vests, relaxed hoodies and patterned knits round out a reinterpretation of functional outdoor wear through the lens of street fashion.
The accompanying images also show graphic polo shirts, colorful patterned pants, fishing hats, scarves and mirrored sunglasses. These pieces directly reflect the campaign’s fishing theme while lending the collection a natural vintage outdoor feel.
Most striking is how the clothes retain an easy, worn-in-nature feel despite their bold logos and patterns, rather than appearing overly styled.

Wearing Memories
The brands previously unveiled a 2022 collaboration exploring Tremaine Emory’s hometown of Queens, New York, and 1990s street culture. In 2025, they released a collection drawing on Emory’s school years.
Where earlier projects translated Emory’s upbringing and memories of the city into design, this one turns to his father’s generation. In that way, ‘Stüssy Tears’ reads less like a series of brand collaborations and more like a continuing story.
Bringing together Denim Tears’ perspective of documenting culture through clothing and Stüssy’s free-spirited style, this collection layers long-held family memories onto familiar streetwear.
