Global outdoor brand The North Face and Copenhagen-based womenswear brand Cecilie Bahnsen are unveiling a seven-piece fall/winter 2026 collection in their fourth collaboration, spanning a cropped Nuptse jacket, bags and hiking shoes.
First unveiled last March on Cecilie Bahnsen’s fall/winter 2026 “Practice” runway at Paris Fashion Week, the collection combines The North Face’s functional outdoor pieces with floral embroidery, lace and three-dimensional embellishments. It centers on TNF Black and Midnight Sky, a deep navy.
While the third collaboration explored outdoor versatility through lightweight ripstop fabric and garments that could be worn in different ways, this collection retains the forms of winter insulating pieces and gear while extending its floral details beyond the fabric to zippers, drawcords and metal hardware.
A Nuptse jacket reimagined with a cropped cut and floral embroidery

The collection’s centerpiece, the Lucia Nuptse Short Jacket, recasts The North Face’s iconic down jacket in a short, cropped silhouette. Its familiar, voluminous padded construction features nature-inspired floral embroidery and a drawcord that adjusts the waistline.
Dense floral embroidery across the surface and a flower-shaped adjuster add intricate texture to the oversized padded silhouette. Paired with Cecilie Bahnsen’s voluminous skirts or dresses, the shorter length creates proportions distinct from those of a conventional Nuptse.

The Sofia Insulated Crew Neck Top and Symone DotKnit Top are designed to be layered under outerwear. They share the dark colors and floral details found throughout the collection.
Floral design extends to the hardware

The bag lineup includes the Meghan Small Crevasse Cinch Bag and a waist pack. Both build on the construction of outdoor bags, with water-repellent nylon and external storage, while adding layers of flower-shaped embellishments to their surfaces.
On the Meghan backpack, three-dimensional floral embellishments cascade among functional elements including the front pocket, straps and buckles, turning the structures used to secure gear and carry belongings into part of the decorative design.

In the footwear lineup, the Martina Verto Alpine Mid, equipped with GORE-TEX waterproof technology and a Vibram outsole, replaces its lacing hardware with flower-shaped pieces. The Angela ThermoBall Mule takes a different approach, adding floral embroidery and three-dimensional floral embellishments over quilted fabric. Both combine function and decoration in distinct ways.

The significance of the fourth collaboration and its release schedule

Photographed by Pia Riverola in Copenhagen’s industrial Refshaleøen district, the campaign features athletes Iris Pham and Molly Thompson-Smith. It brings together images of women moving outdoors, Cecilie Bahnsen’s voluminous clothing and The North Face’s functional gear.

The biggest shift in this collaboration is that floral embellishments are more than just graphics: they extend to components that adjust or hold the shape of outdoor gear, and even to the structure of the clothing. The result brings the two brands’ distinct design languages together in each piece.
The fourth collaboration between The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen will be available through a 72-hour members-only presale on Cecilie Bahnsen’s official online store starting November 2, 2026, at 4:00 a.m. EST, followed by a wider release on November 5 through The North Face’s official online store and select retailers.
